HS Class of 2021 is already signing up and securing their session dates for their senior pictures. We have our FREE concept shoots starting in April with our PROJECT BEAUTY shoot. A no makeup fresh faced session where we get vulnerable and embrace our fears and insecurities and turn them into our strengths. I have a SOCK HOP shoot with a local salon lined up for June and we absolutely can’t miss out on our BEACH SHOOT which will be a little different this year! Boudoir!! Oh ladies, I did a portfolio shoot {I don’t share my clients images without permission so I do model shoots} late in 2019 and I can’t wait to roll it out! Having 3 very different {yet uniquely tied} genres means I have 3 full time jobs. As a mom of 4 active children with a full life– I am staying busy in my career for sure. Personal Brand Photography: this is a hot new title for work I have been doing a long time. It is photography that goes beyond head shots for entrepreneurs and small businesses. It is custom images that tell your brands story. It shows your clients that you are not the same as your competition but that you take your business seriously and invest in your brand. This month (January 2020) I was honored to speak at the Society 12 Magazine Senior Photographers Retreat. I talked about my business and how I use my story telling process for senior images for my brand clients. Standing in front of my well respected and talented peers was exhilarating and a bit anxiety inducing lol. Honestly once I was up in front of them all and because I knew each and every one of them, I felt very at ease. They were thoughtful and asked the best questions. I’m fortunate to have them as “co-workers” in this big business.
I’m sharing some bts images during our time in San Diego. I love to capture the memories of our time together in addition to snagging gorgeous photos of styled models. I’ll post again soon with images that were created while there. ALSO working on tying my genres together under one umbrella brand: Women. Seriously simple but that is where I get the most joy out of my job. (Sorry men, love you too and will still photograph you! but my brand is all about the girls) Their families, their jobs, their loved ones, their intimate secrets and every little detail… women supporting women is my ultimate end game.
