OK, you googled it, Professional Headshots Iowa City and a few sponsored posts came up and then a couple studios with Iowa City addresses and then you found me. I’m technically located in Coralville. I work on location and when we need a studio, we rent one.

My clients need variety for their professional headshots. Their websites need one look, social and linked in may need another and then they have email. There are a lot of uses for the variety.

Recently I worked with David Sinton and his team at Quiet Owl out of Fairfield. We shot these at David’s home. The front entrance was great for a nice evenly lit group photo and for individual shots. We also use a black backdrop and flash for a darker set of images. It’s a nice mix for what they needed.

Your goal in group headshots is to not be too matchy matchy and go more for a nice mix that coordinates and doesn’t clash. This allows for everyone to feel comfortable in what they are wearing AND keeps your images from looking overly planned.
