Almost 6 years ago during one of our weekly Saturday trips to the local Iowa City Farmer’s Market I bought matching twin boy blankets with bibs. They were the prettiest mix of bright and dark blues with green all patterned in animal shapes. I bought them for our twin little boys that were nearly here {I was a ginormous belly with legs}. We found these perfect handmade delights at Jennifer Wilkins’ stand downstairsDesigns. Jennifer has been there for as long as we have been going. My mom bought our big kids the coolest chalkboard mats that came with a chalk bag + chalk AND they could be washed in the washing machine–score! Every time we go to the Farmer’s Market we stop and see Jen’s newest creations. Last year she made me an amazing and colorful blanket to use with my newborn and kiddo photography. I have shared the image below before, it’s my cutie pie niece and one of my favorites with this quilt {maybe because she’s MY niece or because she has the best wrinkles or the tulle skirt–I LOVE TULLE!} regardless, if you want a fun baby gift set, a neat clutch or any number of beautifully hand-crafted-made-with-love items, I would strongly suggest stopping by this spring as soon as the market opens. OR you can check her out at her etsy shop downstairsDesigns. I also bought one of her inTouch clutches and gave one to my mom as a gift because they are so cool!
